What a big surprise when Tim bought for his beloved Beth the little Austin Powers Mini in one of our eBay auctions, without her suspecting a thing.  What a task to keep it a secret until the day that her new ride arrived "in person".
See her zipping around the Rancho Cucamunga area of Southern California now, earning admiring looks and friendly faces wherever she goes...

Yesterday (April 26, 2003) we received an email from Tim and Beth:
Many thanks again for the Mini Cooper - we continue to get smiles everywhere we drive.
In fact, we're getting married this year on July 26th. Our Mini will be labeled with a "Just Married" sign! When the wedding photographer heard our story, he was as excited to include the car in some of our engagement pictures. We'll be transporting the car to Las Vegas to some special locations (including the dry river flats) for the engagement pics.
I was just searching the net, and it brought a smile to my face to see the picture of our car. We'll tell all our guests to check out the website:).

2003 Concourso Italiano in Monterey:
 What a surprise when we bumped into "our" Lancia Fulvia at the 2003 Concourso Italiano in Monterey, California.
New owner Bob Bilek proudly displayed his pride and joy and was even called to appear on center stage for a little interview, where he told the cheering crowd enthusiastically about his rare find on eBay....

Tuesday, December 16, 2003:
 Jim Whiteley was so lucky to find his dream Mini in our assortment of fine European Classix.
 He took it to his hometown in Nevada, where it had become part of his extensive collection of toys .
He sure seems to enjoy it, as you can see in the pictures.
Luckily the Mini does not take up to much space in his hangar, next to the two Citroen SMs, a Model A Roadster, a SeaRey amphibian airplane and a small sailboat.
Gotta hold off shopping for a while, Jim, or get a bigger hangar.......

I found your web page 2 days ago. I click on it every couple of hours to stare at your scooters. I once had a vespa with a sidecar, which was lost in a garage fire, since then I have been looking and yearning for another scooter and have now found the source!
I just wish I had a stack of money or something worth bartering, but for the time being I will just stare at the screen and keep longing for one of your collection. I will begin saving, and hope to be in touch you soon! Ideally, I'd like 3 or 4, so my friends and I can scoot around the hills surrounding our house.
Dreams, dreams....
